- For .gltf files textures live as separate files, so only geometry and materials come through.
- Animation and skeleton are dropped: OBJ holds static geometry only.
- Materials go into a separate .mtl file — download it alongside the .obj.
- Textures are pulled straight out of the source file, with no re-encoding.
